A disease of the nerves
Diabetes can damage your nerves over time, making it harder for the nerves to carry messages between the brain and other parts of the body. This leads to symptoms such as burning and tingling sensations and loss of feeling. The nerve damage is called diabetic neuropathy. However, taking the right steps now can delay neuropathy and slow its progression. Here's what you need to know.
